Why Guardian Self-Defense? Todays busy lifestyle and increasing violence have made the world a dangerous place. Learning to protect yourself and your loved ones is invaluable. Guardian Self-Defense teaches the essentials to giving yourself the confidence and security you need. Here are some amazing facts:
Purpose of our School: Guardian Self-Defense always places the utmost concern on the physical, mental and spiritual improvements of all individuals through training in the martial arts. Respect, Dignity, Pride, Integrity, and Perseverance are the main human values the school strives to develop and maintain at all times and expects students to adhere to outside the Dojo (training place). We encourage the fostering of life-long relationships between students and instructor as well as student to student. Guardian Self-Defense believes that Martial Arts is a wonderful means to develop a strong character. We believe it is not about learning to fight, but rather learning not to fight. It is learning how to defend yourself and your loved ones only when severe danger is evident. The techniques learned should not encourage their use outside the Dojo (school), but rather inspire one to know he or she has the confidence and ability to use them if absolutely necessary.
