Jason Patterson has been training in the Martial Arts for 18 years, particularly in Okinawan Go Ju Ryu Karate and holds a third degree black belt. In recent years, he has trained in Shohin-ryu Jujitsu and the art of grappling.
Jason has placed 1st in many local and Regional AAU Karate tournaments and is a former National Champion. Mr. Patterson has trained with many world renowned masters and has lived in Japan for a period of 2 years training in Shorin Ryu Karate and with the Mito City police force.
In addition to his diligent study in the martial arts, Mr. Patterson graduated Cum Laude from Bridgewater State College. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Athletic Training. Mr. Patterson is a Licensed Massachusetts Physical Education Teacher and a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer. He is also trained in Non-Violent crisis intervention and has worked as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher with youth in behavior modification program.

1988-1994 - Continued his diligent study of Karate and competed in AAU Karate Tournaments, receiving first place in several regional championships, as well as becoming a National Champion.

1994-1998 - Attended Bridgewater State College where he started the Bridgewater State Karate club, and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Athletic Training.

1998-1999 - Became a Massachusetts Licensed Physical Education Teacher and a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer. He is Curently a Physical Education Teacher and has worked with a variety of children in Behavior Modification programs.

1999-2003 - Worked as a licensed Athletic Trainer for High School, Collegiate, and Semi-Professional Athletes.

2000-2003 - Trained in Shito Ryu Karate and Shoshin Ryu Jujitsu.

2003-2005 - Lived in Ibaraki, JAPAN training in Shorin Ryu Karate and with the Mito City Police Force.

2005-Present - Currently ( for the past three years) trains with a current professional UFC Fighter in Ken Shamrock's Lions Den and a founding father of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.

2007-Present - An instructor in training in the Russian Martial Art, Systema. An art utilized by the Russian KGB and Military Special Forces Units- Spetsnaz..
